Solent Gym

Discover our 90-station gym featuring over 40 pieces of cardio equipment, including virtual reality and self-propelled treadmills, trickster bikes, climbers, ellipticals and rowers.

The gym is fully staffed at all times by our professional trainers and instructors.

Sports halls

Our multi-purpose sports hall can be used for basketball, futsal, badminton, netball, wheelchair rugby and volleyball.

Our performance sports hall is a dedicated space for high-level sports and include a FIBA Level 2 Dynamic Helsinki sprung wooden floor; High-specification scoreboard; Capacity for 450 spectators; An industry standard media suite for our media technology students to film the games.

The Sports Complex

Opened in May 2019 as part of a £100 million campus redevelopment, the Solent Sports Complex brings state-of-the-art health, fitness and wellbeing equipment and services to Solent University students and staff, as well as the local community.
